Can't send files.

I downloaded newest version of Messenger and it won't let me send files/photos. Anyone with advice, thanks in advance

try turning of the firewall and send file ,,remember to put it on again when done,,if you are sending files to someone with windows messenger 4.7 and it is firewalled they wont receive it unless they disable their firewall,,----msn messenger 6.1 sends and receives through the xp firewall
