I cant send any emails everytime I try the error box says
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting may not be correct
for your outgoing email(STMP) server. I have tried resetting up outlook
express but no go. Can anyone help?

You need to let us know what your current e-mail server is and also what the
e-mail settings are at this time. If you're not sure how to do this, in OE
go to <tools>, <Accounts>. Select the account your having prblems with and
select <Properties>. Click on the Tab <Servers> and tell us what it says in
the "Outgoing Mail". It should read smtp.yourmailserver.com or .net.

I don't know if you got my question so here goes again...I can't send an
e-mail without it giving me an error message like Simon said...I followed
your instructions and changed my POP3 to POP and STMP...Now I am getting an
error message saying it can't fine the STMP and it is right there....What am
I doing wrong....Help!!!!

In re-reading your original post, Simon, it seems you you wrote "STMP"
instead of "SMTP". Check out the spelling, though it looks close, it is
different.

Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
Some even have tutorials. If they don't have one for Windows Mail, use the
one for Outlook Express.

Or, if you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can
help.

Neets it seems you changed your outgoing settings to "STMP"
instead of "SMTP". Check out the spelling, though it looks close, it is VERY
different and could be the cause for the error message. Try it and let me
know the results.
