Since 2/1/09, I can't send emails with Windows Mail. I tried to delete and
re-set up my server addresses, and also tried sending emails with my Webroot
Antivirus with Spyware de-activated. I also tried to re-start the
computer...no luck. The following message comes up whenever I try to send an
email. "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible
causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period
of inactivity. Subject 'test', Account: 'pop-server.tampabay.rr.com',
Server: 'smtp-server.tampabay.rr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure
(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do a trial uninstall of your antivirus. Reboot, then try Windows Mail again.

Instead of uninstalling your antivirus, consider upgrading to Windows
Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects from
antivirus programs.

Thank you. It was a setting that had been changed on the antivirus. Thanks
for sending me in the right direction. Your help is VERY appreciated.

You're very welcome. Thanks for reporting back.
