can't send email using BCC in Outlook 2003

I have just finished transferring my Outlook Express 6 to Outlook 2003 -
included everything - address book, etc. I am trying to send an email using
Outlook to a group of people - I set up distribution lists. The email won't
go out if I put a group of people in the BCC field. It went out with 1
person in the BCC field. I tried it with about 12 people in the BCC field
and it wouldn't go out.

How can I fix this as I like to hide the names of the recipients?

Thank you

Further note - I tried it with 3 people in the BCC field and it went out. It
must be that it won't go out with a distribution list in the BCC field.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Thanks

Sorry to be troubleshooting this on the cuff. I tried a distribution list
with 3 people in it in the BCC field and it went out. So maybe it's that I
had too many people in the BCC field in the emails that wouldn't go out.
This is a problem for me because 12 people is not very many and I want to be
able to send to up to 100.

Please let me know how to troubleshoot this.

Thanks.

The limit on the number of recipients is set by your ISP, not Outlook,
however, one ususally receives a non-delivery report from the server when
the limit it exceeded. If I had to troubleshoot this, I'd enable
diagnostice logging and then examine the log to see what's happening during
a send. See this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831053/en-us
