You can search for them.
Click on Start and click on Search. Type exactly the following in the
textbox "All or part of the file name":
*.jpg
And click on Search.
This will return all the photo files (jpg) on your hard drive. Change the
Views of the files found window to Thumbnails if not already in this view.
Look at the thumbnails to find one of the photo you are looking for. Right
click on it. Click on Open the folder where this file is located on the
opening menu.

In the future, copy the photo files to your hard drive, open every photo to
make sure they are there. Then make a copy of them to a CD. Open the CD and
make sure they are there. Then, and only then, you delete them from your
camera card. To do this, look in your camera manual for FORMAT. Follow the
procedure and this will delete all the photos from the card and make the
card ready for new photos.

If the above search fails, you can still recover the files from your memory
card with this software:

Look for *.jpg files on your computer hard drive.

If you are using EasyShare I assume you have a Kodak Camera.

Once you find the pictures(they will be there, ES just lost track) you will
have to re-associate each of them with ES(a pain in butt)via the "Reconnect"
feature.

I soon learned to keep ES away from my photos. If you change a photo name or
folder name ES loses the connection and it takes a while to re-build because
there is no batch process. Each photo must be reconnected manually.

My personal recommendation after grief with ES software...........

Assume you are downloading through the Camera Dock or Printer Dock at present.

Unplug the USB cable from the dock and plug directly to your Camera.

This turns the Camera into a Hard Drive from which you can copy pictures to
anywhere.

Find different software for storing/viewing and editing your photos.

For storage/viewing/editing use Picasa2 from http://picasa.com/

For viewing/editing use FastStone Viewer from http://www.faststone.org/

For viewing/editing use http://www.irfanview.com/

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

If you have MS Office installed you can use the Office Picture Manager

Anything but ES!!
