Can't see network drive contents or print after hibernation.

Windows XP pro SP2. Dell D830 (also happened on D810 and D820). I
rarely shutdown when I leave for the day (hate to wait for Symantec to
do it's thing when it's a fresh boot). I generally, hibernate at the
end of the day, come out of hibernation at some point at home, work
for a while, hibernate again and then come out of hibernation when I
am at the office the next day. The issue is 9 times out of 10 when I
get in the office again I can't print and I can only see portions of
my network shares. If I access a network drive I may see 5 sub
folders, sometimes 20, where there are hundreds. If I browse to the
the share, same limited contents. I have a few shortcuts to
frequently used documents on my desktop that become inaccessible. I
also cannot print to any of the network printers. All other network
access is fine. The only thing I can find that fixes the issue is to
reboot. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a service I can
restart that will resolve this and keep me from having to reboot.

Thank you.

One thought: Open Device Manager, open the properties on your ethernet
card, click the Power tab, and deselect "Allow the computer to turn off
this device to save power".
