can't see my local printer

I'm having trouble printer to my local (client) print while using RDP. I have:
1) Checked the Local Devices->Printer checkbox
2) applied the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server
Client\Default\Addins\RDPDR registry fix

I have not yet installed printer drivers on the Remote (server). I hope that
does the trick. Apparently I must connect the #$%^& printer to the server
just to get the drivers installed.

My question is: When I try to print from the client, how do I access my
local printer? If I'm using, say, Word, does client printer just show up in
my list of available printers?

You may need to install the driver on the remote computer. any errors in the event viewer?
