Can't see 'derived' folder

I'm using FP 2003 but when using the Remote Web Site for
FTP uploading the 'derived' folder can't been seen on the
Local Web Site only the Remote.

I have ticked that all folders are shown but
the 'derived' doesn't show up?

The _derived folders are never visible within a FP site (the are managed by your nav view and themes)
