Can't see AppData folder

The AppData folder doesn't appear in the folder list below c:\users\ernie. I
have the option checked to show hidden folders. What else can it be?

Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files(Recommended)"

My mistake. I didn't check the box to show the hidden folders, but I had
unchecked the box to hide them.

As for typng the folder address, that works, but how can I make Explorer
show the folder as "default"?

You did not mention unchecking 'Hide protected operating system files"

I didn't remember the old post. I would imagine that, unless there's a fix
to this, I'll ask it again in a few months.

I would think that the best way to have avoided was was for Vista not to do
this.
