Can't Save Passwords

We have several systems running in workgroup mode which connect to our
2003 server. Most are working ok, but one of them will not let us save
the network passwords (when we map a drive) or the password for the
exchange server. There simply isn't a check box to save the password
when we enter it. I'm not even sure where to look on this one. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the Related Tasks list in the User Accounts Control
Panel, there should be a "manage my network passwords" function visible
if the system in question has XP Professional installed.
