Since installing MSN 7, XP Pro will no longer save my .net password.
Control Panel / User Accounts / Administrator / Manage My Network Password /
Set Up My Account To Use A .Net Passport, then following the wizzard I
follow the prompts and "associate my passport account with my windows
account. When I manage my passwords the passport account is listed and
entering it I can update my profile. When I shut down XP and restart it at
another time and check the account is no longer listed in manage my
passwords. Any help appreciated.

No joy. Followed the instructions and on restart a new key was written,
which also included much more information (Data1 & Data2) keys all with both
Admin and user permissions. MSN still not auto sign-in.
Originally had 6.2 and based on a prompt that a new version 7 was required
I downloaded and installed it. When it would not auto sign-in I uninstalled
it and reinstalled 6.2. The reinstalled 6.2 would now no longer auto
sign-in. Since neither 7 or 6.2 would sign-in automatically I remobed 6.2 a
second time and reinstalled 7.0.
Since submitting the original post I have had occasion to scan a document
with Office Document Scanning, which i do 2 or 3 times a week and when I
tried to SCAN i received an error message that "cannot initialize scanner".
This program worked last week prior to downloading and installing 7.0.
Any additional assistance would be appreciated.
