Can't save (animated) .gifs EMBEDDED in an incoming e-mail.

I run Microsoft Outlook 2002, under Windows XP.
When I am on an internet site, and right click on a
picture to save a .gif or .jpg, it works perfectly.
When I receive an e-mail with an attached .gif or .jpg,
and click on the picture to save it, it works perfectly.
However, when I receive an e-mail with an EMBEDDED .gif
or .jpg picture, I am only given the option to save it as
a .bmp. Moving .gifs turn into stills, which is very
annoying.
Is there a work around ?

You need to write a macro that saves the attachment. (I've posted a macro
in the microsoft.public.outlook newsgroups in the past. Use
http://www.deja.com to search for it.)
