Can't save animated gif

When in IE6 I right click a downloadable animated gif,
but the Save option only allows the "picture" to be saved
as a bmp. This seems to be a recent phenomenon as I used
to be able to do that.

Can someone please tell me if there is a setting I need
to change.

IE's temp space probably full. In IE, go to Tools/internet Options and
clear out temp space.

Animated gifs are a series of images and copying off a website will give you
only one.

As for saving in bmp only, try emptying your temp internet files. When too
full, this is a common symptom.

Good luck,

Ed

Thanks Ed. Clearing the temp files fixed it.
