Can't run Vista RC1

I have toshiba Tecra A4 laptop, I tried to install vista on the laptop but
the computer stuck in windows start screen (after completion the
installation). I tried to reboot in safe mode but it also stuck at file
windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys. I tried to repair the startup from the
DVD and to reinstall vista but it was not solved. I tried all options in
windows boot manager but with same results.

My laptop has a 2 Ghz centrino processor and 512 MB ram and ATI Mobility
Radeon x600 SE 128 MB graphic card knowing that my laptop has passed the test
of compatibility of Vista advisor.

Did you check the CRC of the ISO, maybe that particular file didn't burn
correctly? Also did you do an upgrade or a clean install?

thx for responding
I am making a clean install on a partition of my hard disk (20 GB) different
than the existing XP operation system (the hard disk is of 80 GB).
I can give you another hint:
I have the same problem with Beta version and RC1 version, both sticks at
windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys
but in Beta version, I used the option in boot screen (Last successful known
configeration setting)(or something like this) which succeeded to open
windows but I need to do this everytime to run vista. I cannot use (start
windows normally).
This trick does not work with RC1.

I installed vista as clean installation on a partition in my hard disk (20
GB) where I have XP operation system on the main partition.

Well I can give you another hint.
I have the same problem with Beta version 2.
but i used to use a trick to overcome this problem to some extend.
I used an option in the boot screen (Last known good configeration )(or
something like that) which load windows vista and install hardware drives.
But I have to do this everytime I want to use vista and install the same
hardware drives again. That means I cannot start windows normally and if I do
so, it sticks in the same position as ever.
