can't run spyware get error 101

when I try to run my spyware program I get a message that
says critical error 101 and it shuts down. I also cannot
reinstall the download I get an error that says you are
running microsoft in safe mode which I'm not and I need to
contact my support which I did but they could not help me.
What's going on with my computer? Any help would be
appreciated.

This file by default on most machines will be in
c:\program files\microsoft antispyware\errors.log

Use Error 101 as the subject header of the email.

Windows AntiSpyware, you need to repair or reinstall

hello,
I tried doing what you suggested but I can't seem to
install any new programs. I get the message that something
is wrong with the windows installer. Is this a virus or did
my windows installer get corrupted somehow? How can I fix this?

for Error 103...

I've uninstalled and reinstalled about 10 times... same thing...

but in the last install, MSAS runs perfect... except that it says that
no scan have been made... when it does scan every morning at 6 am... any
clue?

Please try an update install--the is different from uninstalling and
reinstalling:

Control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change,
update.
