I formatted my computer and now I can't resize my screen. Can someone tell
me why? Does it have to do with incorrect drivers?

Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by "can't resize my screen?"
Cannot change the resolution? If so, what video adapter
type does your Win2000 installation use?

My Windows IE is behaving similarly, since downloading
critical updates, I believe. I can maximize and minimize
my browser window, and I can resize open windows for other
applications, but not the Microsoft IE window or any
window opened from/through my browser. It is really
annoying.

I have found a partial solution, though. While the usual
click-and-drag function isn't working, if I point to the
title bar and right click, a box appears that includes
a "size" option. Using that option, I have been able to
resize by browser window. One caveat, though. It only
allows me one resize movement per instance (per right
click on the title bar). Thus, if you want to resize both
height and width, do it from the corner, rather than
resizing one then the other. Otherwise, it just takes a
few extra clicks.
