Can't remove ghost /duplicate PST

I've tried everything I know of (Win XP/Outllook 2003) to remove a duplicate
..PST, including the registry editing tricks mentioned before, the right
clicking on the .PST, and going through control panel to mail. Nothing seems
to work. Can anyone help me, there has to be a way to get rid of the PHANTOM
PST!!!
 
Create a new Profile, add the pst ?
Likely you have corrupted your Profile, as posted allmost daily
