can't reinstall 1.1 after 2.0/.3.0

Recent patch for 1.1 did not install from Windows Update.

I removed 1.1 and tried to install it afresh. It fails.

Is there a way to cure this without removing 2.0/3.0?

curious... isnt this cumulative? if i install ONLY 3.0, shouldnt this be all

It should be cumulative but, there are no guaranties. V3.0 is a little
different because it's an add-on to V2.0 so I don't believe you can install
V3.0 without V2.0 (I've never tried). You can install V2.0/V3.0 without
having V1.x installed and, applications built against V1.x should work (ours
didn't because they broke the BrowsableAttribute in V2.0).
