Can't recieve in-coming mail

Hi All recently bought this new Comp and have windows vista installed on it,
cant send or receive or mail to anybody else ?

does anybody know why ????

My crystal ball is away for repair at the moment, so we would need a little
more information from you to be able to help.

1) Any error messages: Please copy and paste them IN FULL to your reply to
this thread.
2) The name of you ISP and or your mail provider.
