Cant receive emails

hi thanks for any advice i use norton anti virus to scan my emails i'v tried
turning this off but the same results.i'm using freeserve BB and outlook
express 6. it says it receiving the message but will then timeout and give
me this message

A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Account:
'pop.freeserve.com', Server: 'pop.freeserve.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

i was told this could be a problem with IE6 and SP1 could solve this but i
had already downloaded this, also recntly i downloaded a security update
patch and this is when my problems started

any idea how i could solve this

Other issues have been reported on this patch.
Scrolling for example is difficult.

Remove it with the Add/Remove applet and wait for the next revision.
MS knows about the scrolling issue not sure about your problem.


You may be able to get some additional help here.
Windows Update personnel will be monitoring the
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate newsgroup for
issues.
