can't receive emails with picture attachments

please help i don't seem to be receiving emails that have picture
attachments. Other emails coming through fine. Am completely new to this and
finding it very frustrating as don't understand alot of the jargon

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.
