Can't receive e-mails in Outlook 2002

I set up Outlook to use for my Hotmail account. After downloading the
Outlook connector, I'm able to send messages but cannot receive. It does not
matter how many times I click on send receive. The details box pops up with
the correct e-mail address and it shows that it is sending and reciving, but
none of my email is received. Any suggestions, any one?

Thank you Oliver. Unfortunately that link does not help with accounts using
outlook connector.
