Can't receive attachments

Is there some setting in WIN2000 that will get rid of
attachments? I have two secretaries that both can't
receive any attachments at all. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are they using Outlook Express? There is a option in there to prevent
users from receiving or opening attachments. I don't use OE so I can't
tell you how to change it. It shouldn't be too complicated, you'll just
have to poke around in there.

If your using Outlook Express do the following to let attachments come through. ( Warning though, attachments can have viruses if you let them come though

In Outlook Express, locate and click on the top bar name Tools
Click option
CLick the Security Ta
Uncheck the box that says : Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a viru

Now all attachments wil lcome through

Outlook Express. Tools; Options; Security. Uncheck the tick-box 'Do not
allow attachments.......'
