This is the second copy of Office 2003 that I have purchased. As with the
first copy I can not edit any of the databases that came with my college
class...nor can I get any reports to pull up. Each time I try the program
gives me an error message that says an error has occurred and access has to
close.
Can anyone help me with this????
Thanks!

Which Office edition did you buy?
What kind of error message do you get exactly?

Is your database write protected? You need to have full permissions on
the folder where you stored sour database.

Do you have installed a default printer? This is necessary for
displaying reports.

I have full permission to the databases are not write protected. I have a
printer installed.
Every time I open Access it immediately closes and says an error has
occured. I have done all the windows updates...everything I can think of.

Thanks!

Have you installed the ServicePack3 and not installed the hotfix for it?
