Can't publish

I have FP 2000 premium...I installed Microsoft KB824145 and now can't publish. Get "an errror occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.... if you're the webmaster see system server logs.." My server said that this patch should be installed on the server only...not on my computer... Please advise... And what do I do now to fix this. I need to access my website. thx.

Which version of Windows are you running?

I have Windows XP Home with FP2000 and all patches, no problems accessing
any web site directly via FP.
