Can't Print Or Make Reports

I've read all the posts regarding this, but none apply to my situation.
Running Access 2003 on XPPro, SP2, latest Jet upgrade, etc., default printer
of an HP 4050N specified, on a LAN, I can't print or create or design
reports. However, if I set my default printer to the Adobe PDF Writer, all
the functionality is returned.

While this is a work around for design, it still doesn't solve my problems.
Has anyone found a definitive answer to this?

Have you tried reinstalling or upgrading your HP print drivers?
Also, Go to Sart/Printers and Faxes and check that printer shows as ready.

Thanks for the reply Rosco.

Reinstalled with the latest and greatest driver, printer is ready (could
always print from other applications), waved a chicken over it, threw bones
on a dirt floor. Currently looking for a virgin to sacrifice.

Guess I'll just have to live with the workaround.

Try printing to Active Touch Document Loader. Then try your printer again.
For some reason, toggling between them seems to help. I had the same problem
and this is how I fixed it.

Beats throwing bones and sacrificing virgins!
