Can't preview my doc in Style Gallery

Word 2003 will not allow me to use the Style Gallery to see how my entire
document will look if I apply styles from a different template. I am
therefore unable to apply the styles directly from the Style Gallery.

Do you have the "Document" radio button selected? Are you not able to use
the vertical scroll bar to scroll through the document?
