Can't Preview movie files, need registry fix

I uninstalled a 3rd party picture viewer and now I can't preview any movie
files. In other words, a picture doesn't show under 'Details' on the far
left inside a folder when the movie file is selected. When 'Views' is
changed to 'Thumbnails' in the folder all the jpg files show up as icons but
none of the movie files.
Anybody have a reg fix for this?
