After installing SP-2 on my XP-Pro System did I
encountered no problems (so far) except one.
Any kind of Flashmovie (swf files) does start The Windows
Media Player and then brings the Security alert:
"Your current security settings do now allow this action."
Surprisingly do swf files on the Internet with IE still
work fine. Just all local files give me the same message
above.
I checked in Control Panel 'Internet Options'
and 'Security Center' without finding any solution there.
Then I looked in media Player under TOOLS/OPTIONS under
FILE TYPES and discovered with surprise that swf files
are not listed as supported files.
Even I had Macromedia already on my PC did I installed it
again but the condition does not change. Still all local
swf files give me the same message and swf files on the
Internet play fine in IE.
I can't imagine that I am the only one with this problem.
I hope someone has a tip how to fix it as I wouldn't like
to uninstall the SP-2 just for being able to access my
swf collection again.
