"Can't perform operation, low memory"

I get this message when trying to load windows media
player. I have a new computer with very few programs on
it. What should I do to fix the problem? Thanks
 
Josh, if you have at least 256MB of Ram then I would check your PageFile.
Rt click MyComputer>select Prop>Advanced
Performance-Settings>Advanced>Virtual Memory-Change. Click on Custom
Size>type: 600 in each box and select Set>Ok.
