Can't paste into protected Word 2007 template - on some computers

Hi all,
This is a slightly bizarre one - I've got a Word 2007 template that
contains several plain-text text boxes. I designed the template and
after protecting it and creating a new document based on the template
I can happily tab from field to field and type in & paste in text. I
sent this form to a couple of other sites and all of them except one
can use the form absolutely fine. On one site they can't paste into
the form no matter what they try. They can type in the text boxes,
save etc - but no paste. This is a real hassle for us as we have
several dozen users who need to submit reports that they've typed up
elsewhere via this form - and they can't paste!
Any ideas?
For what it's worth, this site is using Office 2007 Pro Plus on Vista.
We run Office 2007 Enterprise here on my own site. I've got other
users who use Office 2007 Basic & Standard and they can use the form
just fine. I've checked everything from checking default paste options
to running procmon to try and capture an error somewhere, even checked
their perimeter firewall!

At the site that can't paste, look for add-ins that might be interfering. Go
to Office button > Word Options > Add-Ins. Try disabling them one at a time,
starting with ones that are present at that site and not at the others. The
most likely types are templates that contain macros, and COM add-ins.

Thanks Jay - I've tried that and disabled all add-ins, run Word in
safe mode and also changed the default printer(!) but none of that
made any difference. For what it's worth, I've been able to replicate
this issue on another site that also runs Office 2007 Pro Plus in a
similar manner...

I'd appreciate any other suggestions!!!

In case anyone else has this issue, this is a known bug with Word 2007
and is resolved in Office 2007 SP2. If you haven't got SP2 or can't
get it, there is also a hotfix available for this issue at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955143 .

What a nightmare, I'm glad we finally got it licked!
