Can't open .wps with Word Viewer 2003

I have been using Works 6.0, which was bundled with my system software when I
purchased my PC, for the last few years and have saved quite a few .wps
files. I recently upgraded my OS to Windows XP and now I can't use my Works
software. According to the overview for Word Viewer 2003 it will open Works
6.0 documents. I downloaded it and tried but I can't open any of my files.
Will someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong, and how I can get it
to open the files?

Cancel my earlier request. I finally figured out a solution. I downloaded and
installed Works 6.0 Converter for Works and Word Users. Now I am able to open
..wps files with Word Viewer 2003. The instructions for Word Viewer 2003 did
not state that was necessary for viewing Works 6.0 files. Maybe Microsoft
needs to add that bit of information.
Anyway, maybe this will be of assistance to someone else.
