Can't Open Word Documents Normally

I

irace

Hi everyone!

I have Microsoft Office 2003 installed on Vista Home Premium

However I cannot double click on a document in a folder or on th
desktop etc to open the file!
The only way I can open a file is to open word first then go throug
the explorer to get to where the document is saved which is ver
annoying!

I've left a screen shot of my picture here so you can see what the ico
looks like and the window that appears when I try to double click t
open.

As you can see it doesnt even bring up an option to select "open wit
Word"
as you would normally do this and then check the tick box "Always us
this program....blah blah"

PLEASE HELP ME! IT IS SO ANNOYING! :

Near the lower right is a button called "Browse." Click that, and then
find winword.exe (which should be in your Applications folder >
Microsoft > Office11 or something like that).

Or possibly click that arrow that says "Other Programs."
