Can't open Word 2007

My Word 2007 has stopped working. I can't run it in Safe Mode - it won't
open. I have run the diagnostics and it says everything is ok. I have tried
to uninstall it so I could reinstall it - but I can't. I use this program
all of the time. I don't know what to try.

No, it is not a trial version, I bought and paid for it. I have used it
for almost 2 years. It just started having problems. I haven't installed
any new programs recently. I am running Vista and do receive automatic
updates.

Here is something you may want to try. change your printer default. I have a
dell w/ vista and my word would freeze and then shut down every time i opened
it. My I changed my printer default and now it works fine. Click on control
panel, click on printer, right click on a printer to set as the default. I
choose Microsoft XPS Doc. as my default instead of the default that was
preselected. I hope this helps.
