Can't open tif-file with multi-pages

We scan documents using 'mailbox Viewer2' (xerox) with the following
settings: Compress(JPEG) and 'save multi-page as a file'. It creates a
tif-file but we can't open this file, we are using windowsXP and OfficeXP. I
already found out that it can be opend with 'Office Document Imaging' version
11.0.1897.0, but this is not installed on our systems.
When I turn of the import setting 'Compress(JPEG)' we can open it in
'windows picture and fax viewer' but we get to big files.
Is there a solution for this?

You simply have to have a multi-page TIFF viewer, which are relatively
rare. You also have to be aware of uncommon compression settings for
TIFFs. Doesn't Xerox supply you with a viewer?
