Hello

I have problems to open some files and folders on a partition on the hard
drive. I get a message that said that the disk must be full or protected and
I cannot move, delete or anything. However, when I look the properties,
eveything seems normal (fully acces to read-write).

It happened after restoration of the operative system (wondows XP home
edition). The restoration was done on a different partition. This files used
to be as private files or foldres befor the restoration. Interestingly, some
other files in this same partition and that were on the same conditions of
privacy are available withou problem (as an example, in the same folder there
are files available and some other that they are not)

I did a whole scan disk to see whether they could be damaged but it did not
report any failure. I try to open then going as administrator both in normal
and safe mode and still no access.

I will be very glad if someone can helpme as it is very valuable data from
my work and I have no back up.

please write me on to this e-mail account and to (e-mail address removed)

Many thaks and kind regards

David

Take ownership of the files:
