can't open software I installed

hello, I've intalled a program abput real estate in my lap top, inspiron 8600
windows xp, professional, but everytime I try to open it i get window with
this message, "you do not have an appropriate license to use this
functionality". can anyone in the group help me?
 
First check with the software manufacturer about Windows XP compatibility. .
Also ask other users of that version.
It sounds like you have not done something the manufacturer deems necessary
before you use the software.
