can't open .pst file trough outlook

Hey people, I am trying to open a .pst file in outlook on
my FTP server. in outlook [File, Open, Personal Folder
File (.pst)..], browse in the drop down menu and choose
FTP. I have no problem connecting to the providers FTP
address 192.168.1.1, but I want to connect to my domain
FTP like 192.168.1.1/my domain.
 
I don't think this is possible, and note that MS does not support or
recommend accessing PST files from a non-local drive.
