can't open powerpoint 2000 file with powerpoint 2003

I have just bought a new computer, it bundle with OEM office 2003.
I find the powerpoint 2003 can't open all the ppt files prepared by office
2000.
However, I can preview the file during file opening popup window.
Would anyone give me a hand.

Hi,

In PowerPoint 2003 go to Help | Check for Updates. This will download the
latest Service Pack which should fix it.
