Can't open Outlook

First I received a message that the window could not be
opened. Solution: delete registry and create new profile.
Did that. Now it says that there is an error in the syntax
or format of the file.

Please help.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer,
(e-mail address removed) asked:
