Can't open Outlook 2000 in Win 98SE

I'm running windows 98SE, my utlook express works ok.
I'm not using pop3 mail and I would like to configure hotmail in outlook
2000, to use as my email account.
When I click outlook, I get the following error message:
"Unable to open your default email folders. Outlook could not start because
a location to send and receive mail could not be found. To add a location
such as a personal folder file, double click the mail icon in Windows
control panel".
I did that, then what???. If I add internet E mail, it asks for several
things including POP3, SMTP addresses, etc. What can I do?.

Outlook 2000 does not support Hotmail. Outlook 2002 was the first version
to support http mail.
