cant open one floppy says corrupt, help

the one floppy i need i am unable to open. one message reads, Word unable to
read certain doc., may be corrupt. another says, Data error (cyclic
redundancy check). and yet another,' A:\' is not accessible. The disk media
is not recognized. It may not be formatte.
the first is when i try to open certain doc in foppy, the second and third
when trying just open the floppy. inserting a different disk shows the
system working ok because it opens. the one in question makes no clicking
noises as do the others when opening. HELP!

Don't ever try to open a Word document from a floppy! This is one of the top
three causes of document corruption. Instead, copy it to your HD, then open
it from there.
