can't open multiple photos

Does anyone have any knowledge on why after reinstalling
xp it will not allow multiple image to be opened into a
chosen image program? never experienced this issue
before. I had always been able to Select several photos
and then right click to open with a program , and they
all opened , but now only one at a time. ARRRRRgggg
frustrating>

xp only allows opening one photo in the picture and fax
viewer.

yes it only allows one in the viewer, but when you choose
to "OPEN WITH" another program it used to allow multiple
pic, whaz up?

you still can not open more then one at a time.

just checkeed windows xp...
right click on thumbnail of photo
only gets [preview] and [edit]

preview uses the picture and fax viewer
edit uses the paint window

there is no [open with] or [open]

looks like your are stuck....might be third party
software out there you can get. search around google.
