Joe

hello..
for some reason my local drive f can not be opened up
while in my computer. I can open it if i right click it
and then click open. when i click on it directly i get a
message to configure it in the control panel. Also the
Icon for the drive changed- looks like a pice of paper
with a dog ear (top corner of the page folded down).

I have winxp pro
2 hard drices set up as raid 0 (local drive F)
2 dvd burners connected to ide 1 & 2
otherwise everything is fine

any ideas...thanks for any help....
..

Hi Joe,

What files (not folders) exist on the root of the drive? Make sure folder
options/view tab is set to see hidden and system files.

Be wary of .inf files, it may be one that is causing this.
