I started to notice that I can't open links that
containing user:pass information in my browser after I
click on them.

The browser is opened but I'm receiving Syntax Error and
I need to copy and paste the password and the username in
the logon windows only after I remove the user:pass from
the original url address.

How Can I fix it ?

In Google people says its because a new sec. patch that I
installed and I need to remove it.

1.is it true ?
2. whats the name of the patch?
3.is it safe to be removed ?

Yes. It's true. See the last section on this article for a workaround.

A security update is available that modifies the default behavior of Internet Explorer for handling user information in HTTP and in HTTPS URLs:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834489

is it safe to be removed?
No. Security updates are released for some reason. The article explains the purpose of this update.
