Can't open IE 6, control panels, ect.

Everytime that i go to open IE 6 it crashes and comes up
with an error, and everytime i go to open "My
Computer", "Control Panels", or any folder for that
matter, the error code is 0xc0000005, i have tried
repairing windows, i have all service packs and all
updates... any help?

try first to set your time back before year 2000, see if it happens again,
and if or if not, , update your bios

the bios is up to date, and setting the time and day did
not work
