I used to be able to open any folder in the Start Menu.

Click Start ... and then, move up the menu to any item that's a folder.
Double-click it and it opens in Explorer.

Or, right-click and select Open or Explore.

None of these work anymore. Why?

Perhaps this will help, re-register the shell folders:

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

Hi,

See if this helps:

Right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize. Scroll through
the options on the Advanced tab and put the check mark back in Enable
dragging and dropping.

If your right clicking abilities are more complexed, run this edit.

Enable or Disable the Right Click Context Menu (Line 56)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
