Can't open any more windows

Running XP Pro, when I get to a certain number of open windows (in this case,
69), I can't open any more windows. Example: I try to llaunch Notepad to
create a new text document, but it won't launch until I close at least one
existing window.

I know there must be a reg entry somewhere that is limiting the numbers of
threads or processes or something, but I have no idea where it would be in
that mess called the registry.

Any assistance would be greatly apprecaited.

Why in the heck do you want to open 69 windows ??????? , sounds like you are
just playing silly buggers with your machine.
