Can't obtain IP from DHCP server

I'm running DHCP from the DC. Suddenly, some system can't obtain any IP from
DHCP server. If I assign a static IP, it will work. Did someone has this kind
of experience.

I have seen Win98 machines do that. Never could fix it short of reloading
them from scratch. I have never seen any other OS do this.

Turn the offending system off and then ping the IP. If this doesn't work,
deinstall, reboot, and then reinstall the IP stack (make sure you have your
OS CD ready.
