I have created a administrator account. As a administrator I also marked a
folder \Documents and Settings\Administrator acesible only to me. Then I
have performed a Logoff, not Switch users. Now I am in situation that I
can`t log back in as a Admin. I want to reach the content of \Documents and
Settings\Administrator folder. What shall I do? I tried to make a new
administrator account but in Windows task manager it is Guest as user and
not administrator as it should be. And back in user account it says that I
am a administrator. Strange. Maybe somebody knows a trick how to get back to
original adminiatrator.

Dubi.

To log on to the default Administrator account:

XP Pro: At the Welcome Screen, with no other user's logged on, press
CTRL-ALT-DEL twice. Enter Administrator and any password that you may have
set on that account.

For XP Home: Boot the computer into Safe Mode (see Help and Support).
You'll see the Administrator account on the Welcome Screen.

To enable the Administrator account on the new Windows XP logon screen in XP
Pro, visit my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Windows XP section.
Follow the link for Enable Administrator Account ......
